Spent Blade Box

Spent Blade Box

The conclusion of "Novembeard" made me realize two things: my dislike for facial hair and the disparity in double-edge razor packaging. For instance, I didn't like those with fancy plastic cases that securely hold spent blades. Conversely, the ones I liked came in simple cardboard boxes with no safe disposal method. Hence, as a maker, I designed my own Spent Blade Box. This Spent Blade Box consists of two pieces fitting snugly together. Simply slide your used razor into the slot for secure storage, preventing injuries to fingers or trash bags. The inner box features a nub that prevents razors from accidentally slipping out, with no extra effort required. Customize the size or fit-tolerance using OpenSCAD source files included in downloads. To print, simply prepare the inner and outer pieces. Given its solid structure but skeletal design, consider increasing infill value. For a secure fit, press the inner box into the outer one.
