Gloomhaven enthusiasts agree it's awesome, yet some fans think replacing cardboard chits with something more captivating is essential. This Fire Elemental can be easily seen as a "Mystic Ally" or transformed into another ally if the Spellweaver acquires an even cooler companion later on in the game. I significantly reduced its size and re-sculpted the small piece that required supports. I then attached it to a base before mounting it onto a 33mm Gloomhaven standee base that had been remixed. The bottom of the HP dial features a hole, allowing you to stack "HP extend"ers if your bot has more than 10 health points – though, as of now, this hasn't been tested extensively. It's always better to be safe than sorry. EXTRA (2017-11-19): A "keyfit" option was conceived, designed to prevent the top from coming loose from the dial. Essentially, a small spike is located on the bottom dial. The top "key fit" has a slot for the peg to pass through and there's empty space for it to rotate around in the top section. (However, the spike can only protrude when the top is aligned with the "X" mark on the dial.) No additional supports are required. The HP-extend functionality will function identically on keyfit and normal versions. UPDATED (2019-08-27): The "keyfit" model has been revised. This was one of my earliest dials, and while it printed fine with Cura, there were a couple of minor issues affecting resin printing that have been resolved. As a Blender tip for other users: I've stopped using Control-J to merge objects together. Boolean-Union is a few more clicks, but results in a better manifold object.
