Spektrum Module Case for Taranis
thingiverse
I encountered some difficulties securing the body part during the assembly process, so I decided to make an adjustment by removing the spring component and substituting it with two small blocks that are pressed into place and hold the module firmly. These blocks are held in position with a screw each, which were salvaged from the disassembled DX5 unit used to obtain the RF Module. The screws securing the lid on top also came from the same DX5 device. Furthermore, I made modifications to the lid to achieve straight edges that align perfectly with the modified body. Additionally, the interior of the box has been streamlined for a cleaner appearance since I plan to apply self-adhesive copper foil on the inside to shield the module and prevent electromagnetic interference from affecting the radio's performance.
