*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ***\r\n*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ***\r\n*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ***\r\n\r\nEDIT Aug 14, 2019: Widening the slots for the clips by 0.2mm makes it much easier to insert them. You still probably want to flatten the little barb that holds the clip in place.\r\n\r\n__________\r\n\r\nYou may insert these batteries incorrectly. You may solder the wires incorrectly. The connector may come with polarity reversed. Your batteries could explode, causing irreparable damage to your $600 radio.\r\n\r\nThese battery clip/spring holders allow me to use 3x3500ma 18650 batteries, providing over 10,000 mah of juice for my IX12.\r\n\r\nThe clips and springs come from here:\r\nhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072379C1R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1\r\n\r\nJST XH 1s connectors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FBJY26N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1\r\n\r\nThe slots for the clips are very snug. You may need to use tools or heat them up to insert them properly. I also used needle nose pliers to push down the little barbs on the springs and clips. It's tight enough as it is, so be careful not to scratch the inside of the battery compartment.\r\n\r\nhttps://youtu.be/ut6JOoAGFVw\r\n\r\n*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ***\r\n*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ***\r\n*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ***
