thingiverse
Simple mount for Immersion RC's EzUHF Long Range Transmitter designed specifically for SPEkTRUM DX9. This mount aims to fulfill several objectives: 1) It positions the EZUHF antenna at a different angle than DX9's 2.4 GHz antennas, 2) it minimizes interference between EzUHF's 70cm and DX9's signals, 3) offers maximum cooling for both transmitters, 4) allows access to the rear of the DX9, 5) ensures easy accessibility of switches and knobs, 6) keeps the EzUHF antenna vertical when in use, 7) maintains a lightweight (approximately 30g), 8) enables usage with SPEkTRUM's vertical carrying case without removing the EzUHF, and 9) reduces metal around DX9 antennas using 2 to 3 Zip ties. Printing times vary - approximately 42 minutes for the front mount and 90 minutes for the rear mount. A more stable version of the rear mount is also available. Remember, in the USA, an Amateur Technician license is required to operate with an EzUHF LRS TX. To connect ezUHF TX to DX9, enable SLAVE mode in the Trainer section of the menu. Follow steps 1-5 mentioned for using the ezUHF TX. The user is currently using firmware 1.5.0 with IRC_Tools 1.40 and Airware 1.06. Always avoid local 70cm frequencies and repeaters while using EzUHF to prevent dropouts. The STL and X3G files are included for ease of use.
