Spektrum DX7s Stick Grip

Printed out of TPU, this flexible grip slides smoothly over the hexagonal sticks of the Spektrum DX7s radio controller. The outer dimensions of the sticks on my controller measure exactly 7mm in diameter, a perfect fit for this custom grip. Print Settings Printer: FolgerTech FT5 Rafts: No rafts were used to prevent warping and ensure a smooth print. Supports: No supports were needed due to the design's clever use of overhangs and internal structures. Resolution: The printer was set to a high resolution of 0.3mm for maximum detail and accuracy. Infill: A solid infill of 100% was chosen to provide the grip with its signature flexibility and durability. Notes: This grip was sliced using Simplify3D and printed using Hatchbox black TPU filament at an optimal temperature of 210C on a standard glass bed covered with blue painter's tape. To prevent stringing, retraction was turned off and a coast of .2mm was set. For best results, ensure the part is rotated so that it sits perfectly vertical during printing.
