I required a thread swap on my rapid stitcher and refused to release the entire spool that accompanied the sewing machine. Therefore, I sought an alternative. To avoid losing my spool's momentum while changing threads, I decided to print with supports. The middle of my design was relatively slender and my printer did not handle overhanging objects well.
