SPEEDY - a 3d-printable RC-flying-wing

myminifactory

This is a compact sailplane designed for printing on virtually any 3D-printer. It boasts a wingspan of approximately 616mm and weighs around 300 grams with electronics included. The sailplane features a high-speed wing profile (Eppler E184) that enables fast ridge soaring performance. Update 1 (10/09/2017): A new canopy design has been added, complete with two holes for a 3mm wood beam. This allows the canopy to be secured using rubber bands. Refer to the image provided to see how to integrate the rubber bands for a secure fit. The rubber band can also be hidden inside the canopy for a sleek appearance. Update 2 (10/10/2017): Two winglets have been incorporated into the design to enhance stability during flight. When slicing these components, it's recommended to use standard parameters, such as three loops and 25% infill, which is what I used for optimal results.
