This miniature marvel boasts an impressive wingspan of approximately 616mm and tips the scales at under 300 grams when fully equipped with RC electronics and receiver battery. Reinforcing the wings are sturdy wooden beams measuring 5mm in diameter, or carbon-round sticks/tubes of identical size. Flight is stabilized by two servos cleverly concealed within the wings, which utilize a wing-mixer program stored in your transmitter. Update 1 (10/09/2017): A sleek new canopy features two precisely drilled 3mm holes, allowing for the secure attachment of a wooden beam via rubber bands. Consult the accompanying photo to discover how these flexible fasteners can be utilized to keep the canopy firmly in place – and feel free to stash them inside if desired. Update 2 (10/10/2017): To enhance stability during flight, winglets have been skillfully added to the model. Employing standard slice parameters, I opted for three loops and a 25% infill density when fabricating these stabilizers. Although they snap neatly into place within the left and right wings, it's advisable to secure them using adhesive for added peace of mind. Future enhancements are currently underway, with a brand-new fuselage designed to accommodate both motor and battery – paving the way for a powered flight experience like no other.
