Speed Boat 2 RC
myminifactory
My first speed boat was enlarged bit by bit, comprised of three distinct sections. This time it will be a single, seamless hull requiring no separate spray rails. Additionally, I've incorporated a protective deck to safeguard electronics. With a seal of elastic tape and the use of a compensator grommet for the rudder steering rod, it can become virtually unsinkable – but I hope such measures won't be necessary. The overall length is 414mm. A camera mount has been included in this design for mini cameras. This time around, we didn't need assistance from our lovely mermaid friend, as I opted for a flexible coupling instead of heat shrink tubes. Update: Smaller hull components with a height of 149mm have been uploaded. The shortest possible height I could achieve is 127mm. Update 7/July 2015: Smaller deck parts measuring 116mm and 117mm in height are now available online at http://youtu.be/WKB13EdQD4Y and http://youtu.be/e6QYdzF0Z5E.
