Here is a modified version of boundaryconditions awesome hydro-tower, thats a remix of archipelagourbanfarms awesome hydro-tower. Everything is compatible with the original tower! Changes: - Modified the clearances to allow for a easier assembly on areas that are not needed. - Optimized the overall model for printing speed and material saving. With the right settings, you need less than 9 hours and about 196g of filament. That's five planters from one spool instead of four! - Thoroughly removed everything that is not needed to save filament. - Added chamfers to reduce elephant foot effects. Recommended print settings for the planter: - NO infill (It will be walls only in most areas, anyway) - Wall Line width: 0.44 (this is important, since all walls are multiples of this) - If you want, you can increase the line width to 0.48 for the surfaces - Wall thickness: 1.44 (3 walls) - top / bottom thickness: 1.8 - Anything else: Your tuned settings. Additional for the pot: - Wall Line width: 0,4 (Walls are 2mm, if you use 0,44 width, you will end up with a small gap in the middle) - I needed a brim - I only print one at a time to reduce stringing - The pots turned out to be really stable. I have read comments on the original pots breaking, this is most definetly not the case for me. If you have issues, maybe try the original, since I took some thickness / material away.
