Spectum DX6i Battery Cover
thingiverse
I'm crediting the DX8, as I lost track of the original remix of Davross' DX4/5 battery cover. The DX4/5 cover came close to fitting on the DX6i transmitter, so I wanted to make minor adjustments for a perfect fit. Davross kindly provided 123D Design files, which I downloaded and tried to modify, but unfortunately, it doesn't allow sketch revisions. I gave up and recreated the part using Inventor, utilizing the support feature for tabs, which provides better control over material placement than relying on the printer. The tabs will need finish work to achieve a good "click" fit after removing supports. Printer Settings: Brand: LulzBot Model: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: Supports for tabs are built into the model as per Davross' original. Simply break them off after printing.
