Spectrum DX7 neck strap adapter
thingiverse
The original Spectrum DX7 transmitter has an awkward strap attachment point that makes it difficult to use with thumb and index finger on each stick instead of just the thumb while holding the body with other fingers. I wanted to support it comfortably around my neck so I could fly more efficiently. This custom adapter moves the hanging point below the power switch, near its center of gravity, which allows it to hang horizontally. The idea for this design came from a commercially available metal version that costs nearly as much as a large spool of ABS plastic.
