The primary objective of these designs is clearly outlined in the research paper "Electrolysis Activation of Fused Filament Fabrication 3D Printed Electrodes for Electrochemical and Spectroelectrochemical Analysis," which has been published in the prestigious journal Analytical Chemistry, accessible via DOI:10.1021/acs.analchem.9b01331. This specific component is a spectroelectrochemical cell UV-vis adapter featuring a porous electrode that can be produced on a dual extrusion 3D printer and utilized within a conventional UV-vis spectrometer. The two .stl files can be merged by the slicing program to generate a single object for printing with different materials. We have successfully printed the electrode part using both ProtoPasta (https://www.proto-pasta.com/products/conductive-pla) and BlackMagic (http://www.blackmagic3d.com/default.asp) PLA-composite 3D printing filaments, while the adapter portion was printed using either natural PLA or black PLA.
With this file you will be able to print Spectroelectrochemical Cell with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Spectroelectrochemical Cell.
