This device packs a significant amount of science that I struggled to grasp, but the mini-spectrometer posed an intriguing challenge. To prepare it for use, carefully wrap a piece of aluminum foil around the closed end, making sure to cut a thin slit - precisely 0.2mm wide, as specified in the instructions - through its center.
