I hacked a Solar Garden Light from Harbor Freight's One Stop Gardens catalog - item #60561 - into a light that hangs on my toilet bowl, illuminating it at night. I designed it as a joke, but vendors are making big bucks off this idea, so if you have a spare broken solar light kit with good electronics or are combining several, I've got a hack for you. My bathroom is quite dark during the day, which affects charging, and I'm not sure how long regular AA batteries will last, but that's not recommended unless you remove the solar panel, in which case the circuit won't turn off during daylight.
