This desktop eyeglass or keyring holder features a handy hook attached to a weighted base that can be customized with pennies during printing. Adding an M601 command to the G-code pauses the print before layer 2.6 starts, allowing you to add weight to the base. The main body of the stand doesn't require supports, but the hook does need them. To make assembly easier, print two hooks at a time and let them cool between layers. Remove any support material from the hook's V-tabs and gently file them down if needed to ensure a smooth fit. To simplify the process, set the support spacing to 2mm. This eliminates the need to fill the hook's V-tab with support material, making cleanup quicker and assembly easier. To complete the assembly, apply a small drop of super glue to the mating surface of the hook and slide it into place at the top of the stand. Try printing one in Glow-in-the-Dark for your nightstand!
