This is a compact, user-friendly lazy Susan attachment for an x-y sample bed, enabling precise movement of a sample underneath a microscope. Currently, it's being utilized at my workplace. All parts assemble together seamlessly, except for the largest gear and specimen bed. For these components, a 1/4-inch wood dowel should be used to ensure secure connection. Additionally, 1/4-inch ID bearings are recommended for the bottom holes to facilitate smoother rotation. The lower baseplate is specifically designed to accommodate T4 lead screw bearings, allowing the bed to move effortlessly across the xy plane while also rotating. This attachment remains a work in progress, with ongoing development and refinement expected.
