Specific Nexus 6 with Qi Charger Stand

This is a highly specialized Phone Charging Stand I crafted for my 2014 Motorola Nexus 6, combining the internal workings of an affordable Chinese Qi charger with a car window cell phone mount arm. To build it, I disassembled an inexpensive Chinese Qi charger, applied electrical tape to the back of the electronics board and then folded it over onto the Qi charging plate, securing it with super glue. I designed this phone holder to accommodate that Qi charger guts and my Nexus 6 along with holes for attaching it to a standard Car Window phone holder arm. The Qi charger guts fit into the top compartment with the mini-USB connected at the bottom. Next, plug in the power cord from beneath - it may take some patience, especially for those with thicker fingers. I created this device because I have a tiny workspace and nowhere to lay my charger, which prompted me to mount it to the side of my desk out of the way yet still easily accessible. Since I've secured a $600 phone on its holder, I made sure it's extra thick and rugged to prevent any accidents or damage. Print Settings Printer: Hcc Convenient 3D printer Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 20%-30% Notes: I printed it at a thickness of 0.2 mm, an infill percentage of 30%, and the sides, top and bottom measured at 0.9 mm, with supports placed Everywhere for maximum strength. Those supports are essential for the holes on the back of the holder that attach to the mounting arm - ensure proper installation by doing a test fit first. For a cheap printer like mine, some light filing might be necessary to correct the mounting hole size and get it into place. The quality of your print depends largely on your machine's performance and tuning - file accordingly. After Printing Some Minor Filing Required Considering your printer model (yours is likely superior to mine) you may have to adjust or smooth out any small imperfections on the mounting holes and slots in the back to get the car window mount arm fitted seamlessly. Double-check that it clicks into place, and not only for a comfortable fit but also so you won't experience unnecessary frustration trying to remove your phone later - save yourself (and possibly your cat) some future pain.
