If you own a high-end or custom e-bike from Specialized, when installing a new wheel, don't forget to attach a magnet to the rear rotor for the speed sensor to function properly. Without this crucial step, the motor will simply refuse to turn on. This design is specifically tailored to enable boost wheels with a hole rotor to work seamlessly on Specialized Turbo and Creo SL e-bikes. There are two versions available - one for 8mm magnets and another for 1/4" (6.35mm) magnets. Print whichever magnet you happen to have, although note that using two magnets may provide extra assurance when working with the 1/4" version.
