My rear fender for a Blackburn Dirt Merchant broke off and was found hiding under a nearby car. Rather than letting it retire, I created an adapter to mount it on my Specialized 05FSR XC Comp mountain bike, despite its small 1.25" road tires on 21" rims. The design might inspire others to adapt for different dual suspension bikes or create a full rear fender with some additional work. Printed in orange for clarity, it will be sprayed black later. Scaling is set for the y-axis at 138mm using standard medium settings on a Rep 2, V7 firmware printer. The adapter attaches to the fender with two screws, snaps onto swingarm legs, and uses one zip-tie in front. A design change could improve the zip-tie opening's orientation for easier mounting.
