The Kanohi Kuri Model D Version 1.0.4 is a kit bash modification of the Kanohi mask of Mechanics made from hero factory armor parts created by Sylus inside of the Hero tower's assembly chamber when he ended up there during his misadventures. it's function is identical to the original giving it's wearer knowledge on how to operate vehicles and most machinery. The Mask of Cymatics interestingly originated from Okoto in a far off part of the island, where users wearing crude versions of this mask would use sound vibrations to alter matter around them to create sculptures and buildings.but since then the art has been lost along with many of the masks used, a Mask of Cymatics would later be recovered and taken to the city of the mask makers where Makuta would reforge the mask into a more refined shape...although he never got the chance to show off his project, instead turning his attention to a more dark and sinister project. Shattered pieces of Kanohi Zulva masks of Omni-Vision can still be found in abandoned mines and dug up air pockets.The intended purpose of the mask was to assist Fe-matoran miners in finding ores and minerals with it's vast array of vision filters from x-ray to thermal vision and even a weaker version of Heat vision. The mask seemed like it would be the perfect tool until many of these masks were abandoned or returned to sellers due to complaints of being unable to turn the mask off and visibility issues. The Kanohi Loraal mask of Sundering belonged to a Toa of Fire who reigned over a mountain range with a iron fist, until a refugee group of Fe-Matoran led by a toa of iron came into his territory, when he came down from his mountain fortress hoping to lure the refugees in with promises of riches and safe refuge when it reality he wanted them to turn them into laborers to mine riches from the mountains and create weapons. The toa of iron put a stop to it when he shoved the warlord off a cliff. The Loraal had the ability to burn whatever was within line of sight, the scope was a personal addition by the late warlord to magnify his sight to better use the mask's pyrokinetic powers. a version with and without the scope is available. The Kanohi Ahkma mask of Hyper-Velocity granted extra jump height for it's wearer and the ability to lock on to and launch themselves into targets that the wearer sees and is in range of. The creator of the mask itself when interviewed said he was inspired by the Bohrok swarms when they invaded his home island of Mata Nui and was intrigued by their ability to curl up into a ball and roll around and wanted to make something similar. He got his wish when he came to Metru Nui and used the forges there to create it.
