Spear Head for 1/2" pvc pipe
thingiverse
I have no idea when I might need a spear to hunt grizzly bears, but now you can make one for $2! ( Don't even think about attempting to hunt grizzly bears.) I picked up a 10 ' piece of 1/2" PVC pipe at my local Home Depot for $1.80 and the spearhead came in at just 27 cents ( depending on how much your filament costs). Every time I load files into Repetier, the scale is all over the place - so if this happens to you, simply scaling your part up by 12-13 for a snug fit will work fine. Instructions: 1) Download and print the file. You may need support and a fan to get optimal printing, plus a brim depending on your printer setup. I printed mine at 50% infill. 2) Buy a 1/2" PVC pipe of any length you like - I made mine 4". 3) Insert the spearhead base into the PVC pipe, giving it a quick sanding if necessary. 4) Glue the spearhead into place (but this is optional), leaving it to rely on friction to keep things in place - just in case the spearhead decides to snap and you need to replace it. 5) Get out there and start poking boxes or whatever else strikes your fancy, but be careful not to hurt yourself or anyone around you - I'm not responsible for any accidents that might happen while you're messing around with this thing!
