speakers stand
thingiverse
I needed to elevate my small sound system's speakers, so I turned to OpenSCAD to create pedestals for them and this is what I came up with. I made two versions, one taller than the other by about 10cm, allowing me to place the speakers at varying distances. The pedestals were designed for speakers measuring 15.5x17.5x25 inches and weighing approximately 6.6 pounds. The feet have a diameter of 0.8 inches and come in different lengths: the short pedestal has two pieces measuring 20.5 inches and one piece measuring 21.65 inches, while the tall pedestal has two pieces measuring 24.4 inches and one piece measuring 25.43 inches. I used my Prusa I3 Rework 3D printer to print the pedestals with the following settings: no rafts, no supports, a resolution of 0.08 inches, and an infill of 40%.
