These are lightweight grilles to place in front of loudspeakers that have unprotected domes or cones. The Edifier set I have looks beautiful but I am always worried I might punch something or my foot through the bass speaker one time.... This design is as much as possible open while keeping "things" away from the speakers. These can be adjusted in size by resizing them in the slicer to fit the dimension needed for other speakers, without distorting the shape too much
