Speaker Port (with flaring)
thingiverse
I recently acquired a pair of vintage Yamaha 8-inch bookshelf speakers that came with a defective tweeter, rendering them useless. I carefully removed the non-functional speaker and designed a custom port that allowed me to fine-tune its characteristics, both within the enclosure and extending from the port hole itself. Each port tube is incrementally increased by 6mm to provide precise adjustments necessary for finding the perfect tuning of the box. The ports are strategically separated to ensure clean prints of the tubes and collars where they mount to the enclosure. The three-screw pattern was retained as it matched the original tweeter's configuration, which had only three screws.
