This high heel shaped speaker system features an enclosure designed as a folded acoustic transmission line. Its physical details are explained on Wikipedia's page about acoustic transmission lines, which provide low frequency support without acting like a subwoofer. It does a decent job of producing bass notes. The pressure chamber behind the driver functions as a low-pass filter to prevent higher frequencies from escaping through the vent. This speaker was created using Blender and partially hand-drawn, resulting in varying thickness along its inner wall. The imperfections help reduce housing resonances.
