Speaker Feet (Small)
thingiverse
I moved one of my speaker cabinets and discovered that I had misplaced one of the feet, fortunately this is a plastic replica of the rubber foot I lost, which is an exact match so I'd only need to create one. I decided to post here because I'm building some speaker stands for my living room, it turned out really well so I'm going to make eight of these, figured someone else might want to give them a try. UPDATE I built my set of eight for my home speaker stands that I posted a picture, I've spent a lot of time and effort to ensure I'm getting the cleanest prints possible but these turned out kind of ugly when compared to my other builds. In the picture you can see the print didn't come out smooth like it should have with .1 resolution, moisture is to blame. Here's how much humidity affects your prints; I'm currently working on my office and moving most of my stuff to the garage while I build, I've been printing without issues until this week. What changed? It started raining almost every day, I figured it couldn't have absorbed moisture that quickly but I was wrong. Luckily the only filament in the garage was my Natural PLA. I'll post a picture of my new print once I get my printer back indoors and print with non-water soaked ABS. Printer Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Resolution: .1 Infill: 100% Notes: I was being a bit lazy, didn't want to change my spool so I used PLA. Due to the weight of the box and using PLA, I built it with 100%, and .1 resolution. It's on the bottom of a 60lb (4) 10s speaker cabinet and it's holding up pretty well.
