Speaker Enclosure/Hanger
thingiverse
This speaker enclosure is crafted to house an IP speaker that will be utilized in a school renovation project we're currently undertaking. To accommodate this requirement, the design enables direct mounting onto a mud ring, which can then be securely attached to the electrical box. Strategically placed washers ensure that the nut on the speaker remains flat without necessitating excessive support material. After completing the print, we optimized the G-code to produce a continuous line of filament for each layer, resulting in a smoother finish. A "MoarStruder" 1.2mm nozzle was used during the printing process, yielding a flexible yet resilient product that has thus far withstood the test of time. Fortunately, this solution proved significantly more cost-effective than alternative options.
