This is an open-source, full-range speaker driver known as the FD51-4PM. The Polymaker edition was backed by Polymaker and represents a more advanced version of the FD51-4OS. Compared to 4OS, which is easier to print and allows for significant tolerance, 4PM does not, thanks to the consistency of Polymaker's filaments. Along with an upgraded magnet motor and the use of lighter Polywood filament, this driver produces sound that is 4.7dB louder than 4OS. Its new suspension system also enables it to surpass 4OS in terms of bass response and extension. These enhancements make it more susceptible to damage when driven excessively. Designed for a power rating of 3W to 5W, their improved efficiency makes them well-suited for battery-powered products.
