<p>FD51-4OS is an Open Source 50mm 3D printed speaker driver which is also full range, making it a usable option by itself. It is designed as a educational speaker due to its lower than industry driver SPL, but produces enough for a Bluetooth speaker.</p> <p>It's smaller size than other attempts allows 3D printed cabinets to also be used, and with printed flexible surrounds is the most 3D printed option I can find. It also supports Tom's M3-SK project allowing you to build and learn before committing to using FD51-4OS in a finished product.</p> <p>FD51-4OS has also had not only frequency response measured using a EMM-6 Dayton calibrated microphone, but also Thiele &amp; Small parameters measured to allow you to build around this data. Add to this the simple parts list, cost is kept down as is complexity.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Cone to be printed in Vase mode. Rest to be printed as normal. No support material is required. The driver and the cabinets have a 80x3mm screw thread, eliminating the need for screws in FD51-4OS builds.</p>
