The custom fitments allow the 5.25-inch speakers to perfectly match the interior design of your vehicle's Volvo 240 or any other model equipped with this type of audio system. To ensure the sound quality remains uncompromised, I decided to use two speaker units per unit, as the back dash had a weak and flimsy cardboard construction that threatened to give way under normal use. By placing one speaker in front of the other, effectively creating a speaker sandwich, we were able to hold everything firmly in place without compromising the structural integrity of the dashboard.
