SPDVL124 - 2.5" Racing / Freestyle Micro Quad Frame
cults3d
Complete frame + screws weigh in at a substantial 24.4g, showcasing exceptional durability and sturdiness that surpasses my previous TTGT frame by leaps and bounds! My personal 2019 3D printed frame boasts impressive dimensions, stretching from 124mm motor post to motor post. The vertical triangle arms design stands at an impressive 10mm thickness, drawing inspiration from the sleek lines of light frames like the Astro X5. I highly recommend printing this frame out of a shock-resistant material such as NYLON for optimal results. I successfully printed the top and bottom parts using nylon, employing a 3-wall design with 4 layers on both top and bottom, and a mere 0% infill rate with 0.2mm layer thickness. The standoffs and camera holder were printed from PETG, featuring 100% infill and a minuscule 0.15mm layer thickness. As demonstrated in the accompanying photos, the complete frame with screws weighs an astonishing 24.4g, while the AUW weight of my 2S build is proudly displayed. This robust frame supports a wide range of cameras, including 19x19mm and most micro AIO cameras (two versions of standoffs.stl are available). The frame also accommodates 20x20mm stacks and an impressive array of motors, with a 4 M2 hole pattern spanning from 110x to 140x. What's more, the Gemfan 2540 motor nicely fits within the frame's generous 2.5" clearance, making it an ideal choice for enthusiasts seeking a reliable and efficient setup.
