SPD Pedal Adapter (Stud version)
thingiverse
I wanted to beef up the original pedal's design, so I enlarged the fitting stud at the back of the pedal to prevent it from wobbling under the spring-loaded portion. Next, I added more substantial traction by drilling holes into the pedal and gluing in hexagonal studs. To give it a sturdier appearance, I also squared off the pedal after my original ones broke. You might need to expand the holes slightly to accommodate the studs, but just a tiny drop of superglue should do the trick. After some rides, I realized that the stud shafts were too thin and kept cracking. To fix this, I upgraded the newer version with thicker traction stud shafts and larger holes.
