ABOUT THIS 3D MODELSpazer is a support vehicle used to link up to Grendizer robot and give it more mobility, speed and other advantages depending on the environment. The original flying saucer-like Spazer vehicle that appears in the classic 1975 series UFO Robot Grendizer allowed the robot it housed to fly and travel through space. The author of Spazer for 3D printing mentioned that having completed the Grendizer 3D printing project he could not overlook the famous vehicle and spent 89 hours to create a model to join the robot. Therefore, all anime series fans now have a unique opportunity to obtain the flying vehicle that once printed will easily accommodate the Grendizer model. Just like with all the other 3D printing projects created by the author, the 3D artist paid meticulous attention to the small details of the spaceship. Spazer is depicted with its distinctive Spin Saucers, large fin and only one element seems to be missing - Grendizer robot docked inside! So don’t hesitate - order the files and expand your collection of 3D printed vintage anime characters with Gambody. ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTINGSpazer model for 3D printing is an articulated assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 35 hours in total. For you to receive the cleanest printing result possible, to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and to ensure the articulation of the model’s movable parts, Spazer model was divided into many assembly parts. Therefore, the front and back doors of the model can be opened to accommodate the Grendizer and the blades on the Spin Saucers are movable to display the Spazer in the middle of the battle scene. All the assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out so to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. In order to assemble the model, you will need short pieces of 1.75 PLA to make pins. Apply the glue where you feel appropriate. Make sure to watch "Assembly video" in the photo preview section before assembling the Spazer. The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown. The model's scale was calculated from Spazer's actual height that is 44000 mm. The 3D printing model's chosen scale is 1/107 for the FFF/FDM version.VERSION SPECIFICATIONSFFF/FDM 1.0 version features:- Contains 27 parts;- A printed model is 182 mm tall, 509 mm wide, 321 mm deep;- Front and back "doors" of the vehicle are supplied with a special opening mechanism to insert there the Grendizer model;- The model can be assembled with 1.75 PLA pins;- Watch "Assembly video" to see the pins coloured yellow; - All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.WHAT WILL YOU GET AFTER PURCHASE?- STL files of Spazer Model for 3D printing which consist of 27 parts;- High-poly detailed model of Spazer;- Detailed settings that we provide as a recommendation for Cura , Simplify3D and Slic3r for the best print;- Full technical support from the Gambody Support Team. You can get the model of Spazer for 3D Printing immediately after the purchase!
