Device: Aids to piece removal from their support Application Presented: Aid in removing 3D printed pieces from an FFF printer The proposed tool is a solution alternative to using a cut or classic spatula to remove pieces in order to avoid the risks of cuts for the user and the adhesion of the plate. It's a spatula-shaped tool that allows easy removal of pieces from their support. One of the features of the tool is the ability to use a simple commercial ruler or a hard blade to attach the object to be removed. It also has a circular groove allowing the ruler or blade to be lodged, as well as an aggressive-free support area on the plate. The device works on the principle of a lever, so that a push at one end generates force that favors piece detachment from its support. Here is a commercial ruler serving as a hard blade. The ruler undergoes flexion, allowing it to stay in the groove by jamming. Photos 2 and 3 and 4 The end of the spatula has an accessible area for optional addition of adhesive foam or neoprene adhesive tape, increasing the adhesion of the ruler (or blade) in the groove. It is also possible to increase the thickness of the ruler using a transparent scotch tape. A few millimeters beyond the ruler or blade allow you to attach the piece without touching the support (here the printer plate) The used tools can be quickly inserted and removed from the device to recover their dedicated uses. Note: A slight polishing of the tool on the area in contact with the piece favors attachment, for a ruler it is possible to use the unmarked area.
