Spatula Handle, Pampered Chef
thingiverse
The handle of my wife's Pampered Chef mini serving spatula broke off, so I created a new one from scratch. I printed the replacement using TPU, which provides a soft and comfortable feel, but the design also includes fillets for added comfort even when using harder plastics. My goal was to craft a handle that could be assembled without requiring any tools. To achieve this, I incorporated some small grooves into the design to help hold glue in place as the retaining piece slides into its pocket. Although it's not a true dovetail joint, these grooves should serve their purpose nicely. I haven't yet glued my new handle together, but it hasn't been necessary since it's worked fine without it so far. If you do choose to print your replacement using TPU, make sure to add a few extra wall lines for added rigidity.
