Spartan Lambda Hoplon (Shield)

A round shield, like that used by the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae, is called a "Hoplon". This term led to the derivation of 'Hoplite'. The shield bears a Lambda symbol, possibly representing their leader Leonidas. To recreate it, first print out an image, then sand and smooth its surface before painting it bronze. Channel your inner Spartan with the famous battle cry: "Molon Labe".
