Sparrows .025 Pick Handles
thingiverse
I needed handles for my sparrow picks, and many people suggested using Plasti-Dip, but that stuff makes a mess and used to smell horrible - I'm not buying it to find out if the smell has gone away. So, like many of my things, necessity is the mother of invention; or creation; or derivation? I don't think I can really take credit for inventing or creating pick handles in general, but I can definitely take credit for creating these specific handles. If you don't know what these are used for, you probably don't need them. I'm not expecting these to be a huge hit in the 3D printing community, but if you find them useful, please post a Make or Comment. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: Doesn't matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 25% Notes: Printed in MakerGeeks PETG You'll need to experiment to find the right size % increase or decrease for your printer. I ended up with these settings: Upper Handle: X: 100.50%, Y: 104.75%, Z: 100.00% Lower Handle: X: 100.40%, Y: 104.65%, Z: 100.00% Post-Printing: After printing, you might need to lightly sand the Lower Handle to get it to fit. I always try for a press fit since glue doesn't work very well with PETG.
