The sparrow is a compact 3D printed airplane design that strikes a balance between being small enough for quick 3D printing but large enough to accommodate standard electronics such as brushless motors, ESCs, and 9-gram servos. As a result, all parts fit within an 8-inch cube, which is the typical size of many affordable 3D printers like the i3clones and Ender3, EVEN IF YOU INTEND TO PRINT ALL PARTS AT ONCE. PLA is recommended, as the structure in the body and wing is meant to enhance strength and rely on a relatively stiff material like PLA. Print your PLA at 215 C or higher without using a fan for great layer adhesion. Parts intended to be printed with one outer layer, zero top and bottom layers, and 0% infill are: * Left Wing * Main Wing * Right Wing * Fuse 1 * Fuse 2 * Fuse 3 * Right Stab * Left Stab For control surfaces, print parts with at least 5 top and bottom layers to strengthen the control linkage. Other settings should be one outer layer and no infill. Control rod linkages and motor mounts should be printed with at least four outer, top, and bottom layers and 50% infill. There are winglet designs for the main wing and stabilizer. If you don't want to use winglets on the main wing, add a bottom layer when printing left and right wings to avoid using these parts. For increased stability, always use winglets on the stabilizers. Do not attempt to print or fly this plane if you are not an experienced RC builder, 3D printer user, or willing to consider other people's safety and flying regulations.
