Factories can calibrate devices across a broad temperature spectrum, from as low as -40 degrees Celsius to as high as 125 degrees Celsius, for both sensor and object temperatures. Similarly, the calibration range for objects extends down to -70 degrees Celsius and up to 380 degrees Celsius. Devices exhibit high accuracy of 0.5 degrees Celsius over this wide temperature span, with identical precision maintained between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius for both Ta and To. Optional (medical-grade) calibration is available for added precision. The devices' measurement resolution stands at 0.02 degrees Celsius, allowing for precise readings in single or dual zone configurations. Moreover, the devices support an SMBus compatible digital interface for seamless communication with other systems. Customizable PWM output enables continuous reading capabilities, while also offering a simple adaptation pathway for applications requiring voltages between 8 and 16 volts.
