Sparkcube radial fan mount

Sparkcube radial fan mount

This is my current version for a radial (blower) fan mount for my Sparkcube. The fan cools filament/printed part, not hotend. This remix is of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:225126 I'm using a Big Booster hotend (www.reprap-fab.org). The fan duct fits around this small hotend without issues. Check compatibility with other hotends. I use a 50mm blower fan, which has a very flat mounting angle. It fits under Y-sliders of sparkcube without damage and on original Sparkcube x-carriage. Printer Settings Sparkcube is the printer. Rafts: Doesn't Matter. Supports: Doesn't Matter. Resolution: 200. Infill: 30%. Notes: Print in ABS or PETG (I use PETG). Avoid PLA as fan duct is close to hotend. Post-Printing First, print two holders with correct height determined by yourself. I'm satisfied with a 20mm version. Then print the fan duct once, removing any support. Fix the fan with a zip-tie, drilling a small hole in the "flag" for secure attachment. Drop an M4 nut into each holder's hole and screw them onto the carriage. Attach the fanduct and fix it with M3 screws and nuts.
