Sparkcube fanmount for 40mm fans
thingiverse
This is a customized fan mount for forty-millimeter fans used on my Sparkcube. It seamlessly attaches to the original X-carrying mechanism of the Sparkcube. The foundation of this mount was based on the original thirty-millimeter fan mount found within Vincent's fantastic documentation, which can be accessed via his Dropbox account at http://www.the-sparklab.de. However, I made modifications since I had an abundance of forty-millimeter fans but no thirty-millimeter ones available. Since I'm using this setup without a fanduct, I needed to protect my hotend from cooling down excessively. A small piece of aluminum foil proved to be highly effective in achieving this goal (refer to the accompanying pictures). Print Settings: Printer: Sparkcube V1.1 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 millimeters Infill: Twenty percent Notes: I successfully printed it using PLA and it functions flawlessly.
