Spark Plug
thingiverse
These spark plugs were originally designed for a model rotary Wankel engine. The source file is in OpenScad and included so you can easily modify sizes to suit your project. The code will print between one or more spark plugs simultaneously. I recommend printing at least three plugs at a time to allow the narrow parts to cool completely between layers. A raft reduces problems with adhesion to the print bed due to the narrow base, but otherwise settings are not critical. Included are stl files which print the plugs upside down to avoid the need for support structures. Print Settings Printer: Kossel Mini from think3dprint3d Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Layer 0.3mm thick 0.66mm wide Infill: 20% Notes: Printed in PLA and I used the inverted stl file to avoid the need for supports Post-Printing HT Connector To complete the model, there is a hole in the top of the insulator suitable for an 8mm long 2.5mm diameter machine screw. How I Designed This OpenSCAD Being familiar with programming code, I simply followed the cheat sheet in the OpenScad documentation.
With this file you will be able to print Spark Plug with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Spark Plug.
