Spare temple for Centro Style kid's glasses

Spare temple for Centro Style kid's glasses

thingiverse

A replacement temple for Centro Style "Active Spring" kid's glasses. This quick CAD design was based on reference pictures and the shape deviates slightly from the original. Printed the first version in PLA (light blue in the pics), but it snapped after a few weeks. PETG holds better, yet still not as good as the original. Print a few spares to be safe. To ensure success, print with supports then give it a good sanding to make it smooth and comfortable. File down the hinge part until it fits perfectly into the frame. You may need to carefully drill out the screw hole with a 1.5 mm drill bit. The model is designed for the right hand temple; simply mirror it in your slicer if you need the left hand side.
