I crank up the print size to its absolute maximum and deliberately sand off a bit of the outer rim. This allows the part that fits into the holder to become incredibly smooth, making it slide in with ease. Those who own a Stresa or a WMF will instantly recognize the specific part I'm referring to - an extremely frustrating component notorious for breaking easily, especially if subjected to excessive force. Pushed too far, the entire plastic assembly will ultimately shatter, leaving you staring at a whopping €745 price tag for a brand new Brewhead holder. Ouch! Rather than ripping out the brew head altogether, I simply print a replacement knob, and voila - the problem is solved.
