After my sealings needed to be replaced I bought original sealings, which consisted of a simple foampad of about 2-3mm thickness. Now this is very simple and cheap material for 3EUR per piece. I had cleaned the surface of the ABS lid in order to receive a good and durable tack, but already after few times in use tese pads released from the ABS lid, so my vacuum system with 5 attaching points got untight more and more, the vacuum effectiveness behaved the same, got really worse. All substitutes I treid out were not the solution. Now I designed a pad and printed it with my Elegoo Mars 2 Pro. Material Monocure Flex (100%). After few adaptions I think I got the right dimensions. Thickness I needed to play with. Now set to 2.4mm and I glued the part in with some far-east mobile repair glue with the expectation it stays innplay for longer than the previous mentioned org. parts. After glueing I pressed the sandwich moderately with two fitting pieces of wood, in order to get a nice tack. My today's impression is that it works. At least the sealings in place work. I do not hear whistling noises like before, by far NOT! Which is good. Hope it will still be good in couple years?
