This is a custom Sparco X1 helmet action camera mount I designed specifically for my drifting hobby. It features ample clearance for both the skeleton and waterproof cases, ensuring a secure fit every time. The camera is positioned at eye-line height and as close to the helmet as possible without obstructing the view. I utilized M5 bolts and Nylocks nuts to keep the design sleek and clutter-free, while the original GoPro / Firefly fittings easily integrate into the system. Two versions of the arm are available: a rounded edge model that provides a bulkier but printer-friendly option for those who struggle with overhangs, and a tube design that offers a neater appearance. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 80% Notes: The mount printed in PLA exhibits remarkable strength, with all components fitting snugly together. However, due to ABS shrinkage, you may need to adjust the fit for optimal performance.
