Spannerhands MK6 without acrylic sheets

Update - 2019-04-25: I ended up ditching this airtight setup because it had too many potential leak points. Instead, I found a $10 off-the-shelf solution that's print-friendly and leak-proof. Check it out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3597020 I wanted to avoid making acrylic sheets for this project, so you can simply print these instead. This also saves 16 nuts and bolts that would have been used to attach the acrylic sheets. One drawback is that you won't be able to see inside the spool holder. I just weigh them to determine how much filament is left. To assemble your enclosed spool holder, print the main_body + main_body-cover together. Do the same with the door files. Print out the remaining parts from the original thing to complete your spool holder assembly. Use supports on the door, but you won't need them for any other part. Follow the original thing's instructions otherwise.
With this file you will be able to print Spannerhands MK6 without acrylic sheets with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Spannerhands MK6 without acrylic sheets.
