So, I've managed to 3D print right on clothing! That's pretty cool! Hello #PRINTERNETS! This is the SPAM logo from the bag that I printed in my last episode, which was a full how-to for printing on shirts and cloth. After lots of trial and error, I've figured out the process! Start with three first layers at least Use low heat Go for lower layer height than 0.25 Choose Avery Label Sheets (like these: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Products/Labels/Addressing-Labels/White-Mailing-Labels_05353.htm or these: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Products/Crafts-%26-Scrapbooking/Sticker-Project-Paper/White-Sticker-Project-Paper_03383.htm - pretty much any sticker sheet works, I tried three types) Cut out a sheet that matches the build plate's size Stick it to the back of the cloth Clamp down the cloth (sheet side underneath) on all four corners, making sure it's flat Level up your build plate so the nozzle just touches the cloth I have no idea how well it'll hold up in the washing machine (use fabric glue, I suggest). As usual, here's my build video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o90CNL4oyJ0 See you next time!
